MEET YOUR COACH
I'm an Indianapolis native, raised by a single mother and a product of public-school education. I graduated high school with a 1.9 GPA but with the incredible support of Indianapolis Public School teachers, coaches, and mentors, I went on to earn a B.A. from Purdue University, two master's degrees, Ed.S, and doctorate in educational leadership.
I am only one example of the power of transformative adults' potential impact on a child's life. My dissertation research has framed and laid the foundation to the work that we do at CEE around emotional intelligence of teachers, and the impact on the discipline outcomes of African-American male students in urban schools. I cannot wait to work with you and your school team to build empowered champions for students!
